Project Case Study
A single-page site for an owner-run courier company in Cologne, built to turn urgent, often time-critical enquiries into bookings.
JM Kurier is an owner-run courier company in Cologne, founded by Jaschar Mortazavi in 2005. It began as a courier service and now also handles transport jobs, errands, express runs and special trips across Germany and Europe. Its message is "Schnell. Sicher. Europaweit." (Fast. Secure. Europe-wide.) The company competes with the large carriers by being more flexible, often cheaper, and discreet. It delivers in neutral, well-kept white vehicles.
People rarely browse courier websites. They visit because something has to be somewhere, often today or tomorrow. The site has to answer three questions quickly: can they do it, how fast, and how do I book?
The services are also hard to compare at a glance. Direct runs, Europe-wide overnight delivery, scheduled routes, air freight, general cargo and document courier all suit different needs. The vehicle choice depends on the size of the load, from a car up to a 12-tonne truck.
Business customers also need to send and track shipments without phoning the office.
The site is a single page with anchor navigation, so everything a customer needs is one scroll away: about, services, overnight delivery and the enquiry form.
The services are split by need rather than as one long list. Direct runs are for urgent jobs within Germany and Europe. Overnight is next-day delivery across Europe for small, bulky and oversized goods. Scheduled routes are recurring trips that business customers can plan around. Vehicle sizes are listed in real measurements, from Caddys up to 2.20 m to 6 m XXL vans and 7.5 t or 12 t trucks. Customers can see whether their load fits before they call.
The overnight section connects to the existing ilonexs tracking platform for entering and tracking shipments, so the website works alongside the company's operations instead of replacing them.
Phone, email and the 24/7, 365-day availability stay visible throughout the page. The enquiry form, with a GDPR consent checkbox, gives customers a way to book outside business hours.
The site presents a two-decade, owner-run courier business as a dependable alternative to the big carriers. It makes the services and vehicle sizes easy to understand, and it puts booking within reach from every section of the page.
